Huntsville Eastern League has an immediate opening for the Soccer Coordinator/Sport President. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and hard working leader to give back to the park, the community, and the youth in our area. Many folks have great ideas to help improve our park and programs so this is your chance to take the lead and help keep our soccer program the best in the city! The successful volunteer will be responsible (with sufficient hand off / knowledge transfer from the outgoing coordinator and training from the Board) for assisting with registration, generating a budget, holding evaluations, facilitating team selections, ordering uniforms and equipment, and creating both practice and game schedules. Thankfully Eastern League is blessed with countless volunteers so there are always an abundance of assistants ready to help in each aspect of the coordination. Registration for Fall Sports (Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Fall Baseball and Fall Softball) will be held from 9am to 12pm at Cove Park on the following dates: Saturday 7/23

Saturday 8/6 Tackle football only: your son MUST come with you to signups to receive his equipment!If your son is playing tackle football, he MUST have a physical examination before he may participate. Physicals are being offered on Saturday July 30 from 8am to 11am at SportsMed (4715 Whitesburg Drive). 10-11 Year Old District Champions:Congratulations to the 10-11 Eastern All Stars as they won the District tournament and will advance to play in the Little League State tournament. The state tournament will be played at Cove Park, July 15-21. Please come out and support the team in their quest for a State Championship.
