Game DVD's |

Please remember that we are offering the webcast of each game on DVD. Once your team plays their last game, you will need to order the DVD's at the program / tee shirt tent. The cost is $20 per DVD. However, you will need to write two checks, one to Little League International for 25% and one to H.E.L. for 75%. |

Day 6, July 23 |
|
|
Jackson 7, Mobile Westside 6; Jackson defeated Mobile Westside in the first championship game to claim the Alabama State Championship. In doing so they earned a birth in the Southeastern Regional in Ceredo-Kenova, West Virginia. Jacob Sullivan entered the game in the fifth and eventually earned the win for Jackson. The game winning hit came in the top of the sixth on a solo home run by Jerel Foreman. Foreman crushed a pitch over the left field fence to put Jackson on top for good. Sullivan then closed out the game, holding Westside scoreless in the bottom of the sixth. Matthew Cook and Dylan Crutcher both had home runs for Westside. Branson Audette had two hits in the game including a double late in the game to give Westside a chance to tie the game. Fans are encouraged to track Jackson as they move on to the Regional. The next game will be Saturday, August, 8, 2009, at 4:00 pm EDT vs. Florida. The Southeastern Regional championship game will be televised by ESPN on Friday, August, 14 at 8:00 pm EDT. Day 5, July 22 |

|
Mobile Westside 14, Huntsville Eastern 2; Mobile Westside eliminated Huntsville Eastern in the game to determine who comes out of the losers bracket to play for the championship. Westside continued its hot hitting ways, etching 10 hits of which four were home runs. Branson Audette, Dylan Crutcher, Timothy Holloway, and Jeremy McBride each had home runs for Westside. Graham Owens chalked up the win for Westside. Chase Lovell and Justin Jones accounted for all of Huntsville's scoring, each with solo home runs in the losing effort. Huntsville Eastern finished third place in the tournament. |

Day 4, July 21 |
|
|
Jackson 10, Huntsville Eastern 3; Jackson earned a ticket to the first championship game, scoring 10 runs on 10 hits. Jerel Foreman, Daniel Smith, and Jacob Sullivan each hit home runs for Jackson. Braxton Wallace went the maximum number of pitches to earn the win with Jacob Sullivan coming in to close out the game. Chase Lovell led Huntsville with two hits while Daniel Wright had two RBI. Jackson will play next on Thursday against the winner of Huntsville Eastern and Mobile Westside. Mobile Westside 5, Roanoke 2; Westside defeated Roanoke in the third elimination game. Matthew Cook got the win on the mound for Westside with Graham Owens coming into the game in relief to get the save. Graham Owens and Branson Audette each had home runs. Audette’s home run impacted the top of a pick-up truck over the fence in left-center field. Jonathan Markham was also impressive at the plate for Westside, going three for three. Connor Smith had two hits and an RBI for Roanoke. Mobile Westside moves on to play Huntsville Eastern in an elimination game Wednesday night; the winner will move on to play Jackson on Thursday. |

Day 3, July 20 |
|
|
Mobile Westside 10, East Brewton 6; Westside defeated East Brewton in the first elimination game. Dylan Crutcher went the maximum number of pitches for Westside in the win; Matthew Cook came in relief to finish the game to get the save. Branson Audette had two hits, 4 RBI and also scored twice for Westside, Dylan Crutcher and Timothy Holloway also had two hits for Westside. Tyler Joyner had two hits and three RBI for East Brewton. Roanoke 4, Russellville 2; This was the second elimination game of the tournament, Joey Jordan and Jacob Green both went the maximum number of pitches for their team in this pitches dual. Roanoke ended up on top with Chase Hall providing three hits, and Logan Taylor adding two hits. Jordan got the win and Mitch Palmer came in for Roanoke to get the save. |

Day 2, July 19th |

|
Jackson 6, Russellville 2. Daniel Smith led Jackson to victory with a stellar 2 hit performance on the mound; he added an RBI from the plate in the 6 -2 victory. Landon Oliver had both hits for Russellville including a solo home run. Jacob Sullivan came in to pitch in relief to close the game and secure the win for Jackson. Jackson will move on to play the winners bracket showdown on Tuesday night for a berth in the Alabama Final. Huntsville 6, East Brewton 3. Alan Lee led the host Huntsville Eastern team with a 2 hit performance at the plate with 4 RBI in the 6-3 win. Michael Hoffman also played a key role with three hits and 2 RBI; Chase Lovell added two hits for Huntsville. Will Scoggins held East Brewton to three runs before being removed for reaching the pitch count limit in the fifth inning. Miles Powell, Rob Jones, Nick Laster, and Taylor Elliot all had hits for East Brewton. Huntsville will move on to play the winners bracket showdown on Tuesday night for a berth in the Alabama Final. |

Day 1, July 18th |
|
|
Jackson 11, Mobile Westside 4. The first game of the tournament featured a power hitting clinic, the two teams combined for a total of six home runs in this hitters dual. Jackson ended up on top in the end with a 7 run margin of victory. Daniel Smith, Christopher Taylor, Sawyer Rotch had long balls for Jackson while Stacy Sergeant, Matthew Cook, and Timothy Holloway all had dingers for Westside. Braxton Wallace earned the win for Jackson; he pitched into the 6th before being removed for reaching the pitch count limit. Jackson shortstop Sawyer Rotch added another hit in addition to the HR, had 4 RBI and scored a run for Jackson. Jackson moves on to play Russellville in Game 3. East Brewton 2, Roanoke 1. As the sun set into the west the temperature dropped and in doing so cooled the bats for the late night game. Taylor Craven went the distance for in the loss for Roanoke and Tyler Joyner went the distance for East Brewton to earn the win. Craven limited East Brewton to 4 hits while Joyner limited Roanoke to 5 hits. Miles Powell had two of his teams four hits, scored a run and added an RBI for East Brewton. Logan Taylor had two hits for Roanoke. East Brewton moves on to play Huntsville Eastern in game 4 on Sunday. |
